Scheme of Examinations

1. There are two main examination held in an academic year. They are Half Yearly Examinations held in September and Final Examinations held in February/March.

2. Besides these two main examinations there will be two unit tests in an academic year. Two unit tests are held before the Half Yearly examinations and in between the Half yearly and annual Examinations.

3. Students absent from an examination for any reason shall not re-examined. In the case of illness a certificate from an approved medical practitioner is to be produced. Absence from the whole examination involves a total loss of marks.

4. Absence from a subject excludes a student from being reckoned in the order of merit in the examination.

5. Any willful breach of regulation for the peaceful conduct of examinations is punishable by expulsion from the whole examination an d if discovered subsequently it will lead to the cancellation of the papers.

6. A pupil caught for malpractice in examination may get zero for the subject and may be debarred from subsequent examinations, shall be retained in the same class or be dismissed from the school.

7. Reports Cards/Progress Cards are given to the parents/ guardians and these will be withheld for nonpayment of school dues.

8. For the pupils of class X and XII there will be a Pre-board Examination in the month of January to determine whether they are qualified enough to appear for the Board examination. Those who fail to attend all the Pre-board Examinations and who do not pass in all the subjects shall not be allowed to appear for the Board Examinations.
