1. Library card are issued to the students for the purpose of borrowing books.
2. A student may borrow a maximum of two books at a time.
3. A book is issued for a period of two weeks which can be re-issued once again if no one else requires it.
4. A fine of ₹5/- for the first week and ₹ 10/- each for the subsequent week will be charged from those who fail to return the library books in time.
5. Reference books, reserved books, new arrivals and periodicals shall not be taken out of the reading room. After reading they are to be returned to the librarian.
6. All the books should be returned before the commencement of the vacations.
7. Personal books are belongings are not supposed to be brought in to the library. So also personal files, note books etc. should not be left in the Library.
8. A library book lost or damaged shall be replaced with a new one or paid for by the borrower.
9. A fine of ₹5/- will be charged for a duplicate card.
10. Strict silence shall be maintained in the library and in the reading room.
11. The library will remain closed on holidays.
