Admission Procedure

* The School Management reserves the right to admit or to refuse admission to candidates seeking admission to the school.
* Applications for admission and Registration Forms will be accepted in Feb/March for the session commencing in April. Registration forms and Prospectus will be available from the school office.
* Pupils seeking admission will be tested/ interviewed and admitted only on the basis of merit. However priority shall be given to following categories on the basis of merit:-
* Children of Catholic parents.
* Children of the locality.
* Children coming from the schools under the Society due to the transfer of their patents to Srinagar.
* Children of parents who have been transferred to Srinagar from outside.
* A parent/guardian of a candidate seeking admission to Class I must produce a Birth Certificate from Municipality/Cantt. Board/Gram Pradhan or, in the case of a Christian, a Baptism Certificate.
* Since Little Flower Kindergarten School is a separate institution, every pupil seeking admission to Class I having passed from U.K.G. has to seek fresh admission, in the school, with date of birth certificate.
* A candidate wanting to join Class II and above cannot be admitted unless Transfer Certificate from his/her previous recognized School, after having countersigned by the Inspector of Schools of the state where the school is situated, is produced.
* The entry to Class XI id not automatic. The pupils will have to seek fresh admission to class XI. Choice of subjects and/group (Science, Mathematics, Commerce) shall be offered to the pupils on their performance in the Pre-board and ICSE Examinations. The criteria or cut off percentage shall vary from year to year depending up on the overall results of the pupils in the relevant subjects in the ICSE Examinations.
* In view of providing more working days for the pupils of Class XI their Classes may commence from the month of April, Prior to the declaration of ICSE results.
* Permission to attend Class XI from April is given only to those pupils who have qualifying marks, fixed by the Management, in the relevant subjects both in the half yearly and in the pre-board examinations held in Class X.
* The permission to attend Class XI from April does not amount to regular admission in Class XI.
* The admission in Class XI is finalized only after the declaration of the Class X (ICSE) results by the Council.
* Admission fee, Caution money, yearly fees and first installments of the monthly fee shall be paid in advance to complete the formalities of admission.
* The admission shall be granted strictly based on the merit of the candidates. Any unfair means like attempt to bride, recommendation etc. will debar the candidate from getting admission.
* After the admission, if the candidate fails to attend class, no refund of any kind shall be Made expect for the caution money – after deducting damages, if any and the percentage meant for the alumni association of St. Theresa’s(AAST).
